Airs Friday, June 9, 2017, at 11 a.m. Bill Beckett spoke with flutist Sally Horak along with conductors Leonard Kacenjar and Kermit Poling about the Grand Opening Concert for the 41st season of the Shreveport Summer Music Festival which takes place this Sunday Afternoon, June 11, at 3 p.m. in Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Shreveport. The program features music by Pichl, Corigliano, Vaughan Williams, and Schubert.

Airs Monday, March 25 at 11 a.m.  Leonard Slatkin take the podium to lead this weeks concert by the Pittsburgh Symphony in Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus and the Flower Clock by Jean Francaix’s. The concert also features Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.
