Centenary College sophomore Sara Whittington is bringing awareness to bullying in connection with sexual orientation and gender identity.
A Centenary College student has organized a maker's faire Saturday in recognition of National Day of Silence. The student-led event denounces bullying in connection with sexual orientation or gender identity. Sara Whittington, a sociology major from Pineville, La., wanted to organize a creative outlet to mark the day. Whittington said 23 vendors will sell their handmade goods.
