Airs Thursday, December 18 at 11 a.m. A new series of special concert from the Mozart Festival 2014. This weeks' concert features Marc Minkowski leading the Vienna Philharmonic in the Andante from Mozart’s Serenade in D, KV 250 “Haffner.”  The Alina Ibragimóva, violin; Renaud Capuçon, violin; Gérard Caussé, viola; Léa Hennino, viola; and Clemens Hagan, ‘cello will present Mozart's Quintet in g minor, KV 516, and the program concludes with the Gloria from Mozart: Mass in C with the Salzburg Cathedral Chorus and Orchestra under János Czifra joined by soprano Sophie Mitterhuber, alto Bernadette Furch, tenor Maximilian Kiener, and bass William Hackett. Hannes Eichmann will host.

This program features Robin Ticciati leading the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in allegro from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in c minor, Op. 67. The Alina Ibragimóva, violin; Renaud Capuçon, violin; Gérard Caussé, viola; Léa Hennino, viola; and Clemens Hagan, cello will perform Mozart's Quintet in B-flat, KV 174. Hannes Eichmann will host.

Airs Monday, September 16 at 11 a.m. On the next concert by the San Francisco Symphony conductor Alan Gilbert will be joined on stage by violinist Renaud Capucon for the Violin concerto, L'Arbre des songes by Henri Dutilleux. The concert opens with Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93 and concluded with the Symphony No. 99 in E-flat Major by Haydn and we'll also hear the Serenade No. 2 in A Major, Op. 16 by Brahms.
