NPR has alerted us that the President will address the nation tonight and NPR coverage will begin at 6:00 p.m. CT tonight. No details about the subject of the address are known at this time. President Obama is in Afghanistan on a surprise visit and a meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Obama will address Americans tonight from Bagram Air Base, at 6:30 p.m. CT. NPR coverage will begin at 6pm.
