For The Mozart Festival, artists and thousands of visitors have come to Salzburg, city of Mozart’s birth, to celebrate Mozart: from the United States, Venezuela, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Portugal, France, Great Britain, Greece, Austria, Spain, and from around the world. It is one of the world’s most spectacular music events. Program features pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard with the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Teodor Currentzis in Mozart's Allegro from the Concerto for Piano & Orchestra in c minor, KV 491 and the Camerata Salzburg under Louis Langrée in Mozart's Symphony in D, KV 385 “Haffner.”

Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert we'll hear Pierre-Laurent Aimard as conductor and pianist along with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. The concert opens with Schoenberg's Three Pieces for Piano, Op. 11. Then we'll hear Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 18 in Bb, K. 456; Stravinsky's Symphonies of Wind Instruments (1947 revision); and Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms (1948 revision).
