Air Friday, August 21 at 9 p.m. This week on the Caravan we'll open with two by Maggie Koerner and we'll hear from First aid Kit, Red Bird, Eric Underwood, the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Ali Farke Toure, Ry Cooder, Chitravina N. Ravikiran, Charlie Musselwhite, J. Edwards, and AJ & The Two Tone Blues Band. Then in our concert hour we go to Decatur, GA for a concert featuring Don Conoscenti live at Eddie's Attic and in our final hour we go from Bad Nights to Better Days with tunes by Cat Power, Jeffrey Foucault, Robert Deeble, the Hold Steady, Belle & Sebastian, and Joe Walsh.

Airs Friday, January 9 at 9 p.m.  This week on the Caravan we'll feature new music from One Mile An Hour and the Be Good Tanyas plus tracks from Myshkin's Ruby Warbler, Patty Griffin, Andrew Bird, Michael Hedges, Maggie Koerner along with Blues from Odetta and Lizz Wright. Then, in our concert hour we'll join Emmylou Harris live at the Newport Folk Festival in in our final hour we'll wander Gently Off The Edge.

Then in our concert hour we hear a concert featuring the Aaron O'Rourke Trio ... and in our final hour we'll take "Something for the Pain" with tracks from Robert Deeble, Ida, 12 Stones, L. Subramaniam, Czeslaw Milosz, Sun Kil Moon and more.

In our Second hour we sit down with Maggie Koerner and Nick Brumley to talk about their latest projects including Maggie's CD Neutral Ground, and they'll play some tunes for us. Then, in our final hour, we'll Rejoice in hands with music from Richard Shindell, Tindersticks, Vangelis, M Ward, Joan Baez, Lambchop and some Joe Walsh to name a few.
