Centenary's 'The Forum' to delve into diversity and race relations

The Forum will feature Michigan State University philosophy professor Kristie Dotson.

Diversity and racial justice will be discussed Monday as part of “The Forum,” an annual event put on by Centenary College’s philosophy department.

The event, over two Mondays, includes a speech from a guest author and a and community panel discussion. Centenary philosophy professor Chris Ciocchetti says it’s time for philosophers tackle the ongoing discussion about diversity.

Centenary College to host discussions on public school science education

Centenary partners with MLK Health Center for open houses

A Shreveport community health provider is getting marketing and brand consulting from a group of Centenary College students who are part of a living learning community called Santé. It’s the French word for “health.” Since August, the students have immersed themselves in the work done by MLK Health Center. Scott Myers, a biochemistry major from Monroe, La., said they were able to produce marketing materials through a grant.
