Aired Friday, October 21, at 11 a.m. Kermit Poling spoke with Music Director Michael Butterman from the Shreveport Symphony along with guest artists Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe about the next concert with the Shreveport Symphony, Saturday, October 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Riverview Theater. They will perform Poulenc’s Concerto for Two Pianos and Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. The concert also includes Rusty Air in Carolina by Mason Bates and Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite.

Then on Sunday, October 24, at 3 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium on the Centenary College Campus, the piano duo of Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe, will give a free recital featuring works by works by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Piazzolla and McCartney.

The 2019 silver medal winner of the International Global Music Award, Kermit Poling is Music Director of both the South Arkansas Symphony, the Marshall Symphony Orchestra, the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet, the Associate Conductor of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra as well as General Manager of the Red River Radio Network.
