Red River Radio Spotlight: Acceptable Losses at the Meadows.

Airs Friday, November 12, at 11 a.m. That was American artist Steve Kurtz along with Dr. Lisa J. Nicoletti, co-director of the Meadows Museum of Art who joined me in our Noel Foundation Studios to discuss "Acceptable Losses," and exhibit at the Meadows. This exhibition examines which forms of human sacrifice are acceptable within U.S. society and which are not and questions what informs public policy governing our country's responses to death. This exhibit is now on display until January 22, 2017 and this evening at 7 p.m. Steve will give a talk about his work and the subject of Veteran Suicides in America. There will also be a reception at 6 p.m. For complete details, visit the Meadows at www.centenary.edu/meadows or call 318 - 869 - 5040. That's 318 - 869 - 5040.
