With our current airwaves roiling in female victimization stories, what we need now is to hear stories about powerful women throughout history who were strong leaders, strategic warriors and ultimately victorious. Anthony, female samurai Tomoe Gozen, animal rights activist Jane Goodall, first African American female astronaut Mae Jemison, and all the women in the amazing kids book series “Rebel Girls.” These women remind us that Women are intelligent, strong, resourceful and can powerfully affect the world around them.
