Centenary senior Aiden Poling will direct Nick Payne's Constellations with a Centenary cast and crew at the Central Art Station in downtown Shreveport at the end of April. The show opens April 21 at 7:30 p.m. with an additional evening performance on April 22 and a 2:00 p.m. matinee to close the run on April 23. In Constellations, playwright Nick Payne puts a wild spin on the typical dramatic structure to which audiences have become accustomed. Payne’s story follows the relationship of two characters, Marianne, a quantum physicist, and Roland, a humble beekeeper. The show opens with the two meeting each other by chance at a mutual friend’s barbeque, but what is quickly apparent is that the characters will be meeting each other again and again at different stages of their lives throughout the rest of the play.
