WWII veteran draws visitors to Belcher, La. memorial

W.H. Greene meets people from around the country who visit his memorial to war veterans, outside his home in Belcher, La. Greene is still adding engraved bricks to the memorial.

W.H. Greene, 87, of Belcher, La., reflects on the hand-to-hand combat he saw while stationed in the Philippines as a staff sergeant in World War II. A decade ago, he erected a memorial park in honor of all war veterans outside his home.
