Airs Friday, May 13, at 12 noon. This week on Carnegie Hall Live the Bach Collegium Japan takes the stage with music by Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel. Masaaki Suzuki conducts from the Harpsichord with soprano Joanne Lunn featured in two Bach Cantatas. Jeff Spurgeon and John Schaefer will host with special guest John Hockenberry.

Airs Monday, March 23, at 11 a.m. This week on the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Nicolas McGegan conducts Vivaldi’s Four Seasons featuring Ye-Eun Choi on violin. We'll also hear Haydn’s Symphony No. 103 and the Chaconne from Idomeneo by Mozart. Jim Cunningham will host.

Bill Beckett spoke with violinist Elizabeth O'Bannon who will present a program called “Inward Journey” featuring music by Ralph Vaughn Williams, Vivaldi, Vitali, Gluck and more, this Sunday Afternoon, November 30 at 2 p.m., at St. George Episcopal Church located at 1959 Airline Drive in Bossier City.  She’ll be joined by organist Kermit Poling and the concert is free and open to all. Airs Monday, January 13 at 11 a.m. This week on the San Francisco Symphony violnist Itzhak Perlman will be featured as soloist and conductor in Summer & Winter from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. He will also lead the orchestra in Mozart's Symphony No. 38 in D Major, K. 504 and Tchiakovsky's Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, Opus 36. The concert will conclude with the Roman Carnival Overture by Berlioz.

Airs Saturday, August 3 at 2 p.m. This week we join the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival again for a season of great concert and to open he season we have cellist Lynn Harrell in the Concerto for Cello, Strings and Continuo in E Minor by Vivaldi and Schubert's Piano Trio in B-Flat Major.
