Violinist Christian Tetzlaff will join maestro Tilson-Thomas for a performance of the Violin Concerto by Ligeti.
Saturday, September 21 at 12 noon. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra Pinchas Steinberg leads the orchestra in the Le Coq d’Or Suite by Rimsky-Korsakov and Tchaikovsky's Francesco di Rimini with Sasha Cooke as mezzo-soprano. The concert concludes with Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky.

Airs Monday, June 24 at 11 a.m. Manfred Honeck takes the podium this week for our concert by the Pittsburgh Symphony with guest cellist Yo-Yo Ma. They perform Antonin Dvorak’s Cello Concerto & Antonio Vivaldi’s Cello Concerto in A minor. The concert also feature Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite.”
