Airs Monday, May 11, at 11 a.m. This week on the San Francisco Symphony Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas takes the podium to lead the orchestra in a new work called "Lineage,' by Di Castri, the Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Opus 44 by Prokofiev, and Stravinsky's Divertimento from The Fairy's Kiss. Pianist Yefim Bronfman will be featured in the center performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor, Opus 23.

Airs Monday, April 27, at 11 a.m. The new season of concerts from the San Francisco Symphony begins this week when Semyon Bychkov leads the orchestra in Schubert's Symphony in B Minor, D.759, Unfinished and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 11 in G Minor, Op. 105, The Year 1905.  For an Encore the orchestra dips into the archives for Stravinsky's Symphony in Three Movements under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas.

Airs Monday, June 30 at 11 a.m.  This week on our broadcast concert by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, composer and conductor John Adams will lead the orchestra his own works, Short Ride in a Fast Machine and Harmonielehre. He'll be joined on stage by violinist Andrés Cárdenes for the Violin Concerto in D Major by Igor Stravinsky and the concert will also feature Frank Zappa’s Dupree’s Paradise.

On this week's broadcast by the San Francisco Symphony, Michael Tilson Thomas leads the orchestra in Mozart's Symphony No. 35 in D Major "Haffner";  Ades' Polaris Voyage for Orchestra;  Stravinsky's Petrouchka plus an Encore of Stravinsky's Scherzo a la Russe;  and Prokofiev's Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 44.

Airs Saturday, August 17 at 12 noon. On this week's concert from the Cleveland Orchestra, Giancarlo Guerrreo leads the orchestra in Stravinsky's Petrouchka Ballet and Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole. Also on the program violinist William Preucil will be featured in the Violin Concerto No. 3 by Paulus.
