Bill Beckett talks with Alexandyr Kent, Executive Director of the Robinson Film Center about the film Bully, which opens today at the Robinson. Bully is an eye-opening documentary which follows five kids and families during a school year. Two families have lost children to suicide, and one mother grapples with the future of her 14-year-old daughter who has been incarcerated after bringing a gun on her school bus.

Music Director Michael Butterman play musical chairs with Kermit Poling and interviews Kermit about this weekends performance which features the Barber Violin Concert with Mr. Poling as soloist. Other works on the concert include the Candide Overture by Bernstein, Hanson's Symphony No. 2, and Peck's The Glory and the Grandeur.

Bill Beckett talks with Al Bohl about his documentary "Tarzan: Lord of the Louisiana Jungle" which will be shown tonight at the Robinson Film Center along with the original 1918 silent film movie "Tarzan of the Apes," starring Elmo Lincoln and featuring the West Edge String Quartet performing a new score for the movie by Kermit Poling.

Pleasant Street

Bill Beckett talks with Philip Maxfield and the men of Pleasant Street Barbershop Quartet about the Harmony On The Red showcase and competition this weekend. On March 23 & 24 voices will be raised here in Shreveport as the Barbershop Harmony Society's "Harmony On The Red" returns. Approximately 400 participants featuring both Barbershop Quartets and Choruses will compete for Top Honors. The competition will take place at Caddo Magnet High School Performing Arts Center. Free Harmony Education classes will be held on Friday, March 23 and 4 p.m. and Saturday, March 24 at 3 p.m.
