Bill Beckett is joined by Gloria Gipson, Executive Director of the Theatre of the Performing Arts of Shreveport, Jazz Violinist Michael Ward and Jazz Saxophonist Pamela Williams to talk about the 11th annual Yazzy Youth Celebration Jazz Concert which takes place Friday, April 26th at 7  p.m. at the Riverview Theatre in Shreveport.

Bill Beckett talks with director Kip Holloway, Chelsea Hockaday (Madge) and Andrew Wood (Hal) about their production of William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize winning dramatic play "Picnic," which opens tonight in the Marjorie Lyons Playhouse at Centenary College.  More information about show times and tickets can be found here.

Bill Beckett talks with director Tom Anton and Co-Writer Sandi Russell about the release of "The Pardon" staring Jaime King as Toni Jo Henry, the Only woman to be executed in Louisiana's Electric Chair. The film also features Academy Award nominee John Hawkes, Jason Lewis, M.C. Gainey, and T. J. Thyne is will premiere Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Robinson Film Center in Shreveport and at select theaters throughout the state. 

Kermit Poling sits down with violinist Philippe Quint and Music Director Michael Butterman to talk about the Four Seasons Concert this Saturday with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra. They also play a Tchaikovsky melody in our new studio. The concert Saturday features the Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires .  Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 1 will open the performance.  Information about the concert can be found at Shreveport Symphony.
