With the first case on American soil emerging in Dallas, Sci-Port: Louisiana's Science Center is partnering with LSU Health Shreveport and Red River Radio to present a free public forum on Ebola at Sci-Port's IMAX Dome Theatre. The one-hour Ebola 101 Forum is set for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m.

Congratulations to Kate Archer Kent and Alexandyr Kent on their new arrivals to the family. Alistair and Hugo Kent made their landing on Wednesday, May 7, with Alistair weighing in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and Hugo weighing in at 6 lbs. 7 oz. Obviously, Kate will be covering an entirely different set of news stories for the next several months as new arrivals make news daily.
