Airs Monday, January 4, at 1 p.m. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra pianist Lang Lang joins conductor Franz Welser-Möst for a concert featuring Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise Brillante, as well as Pintscher's Idyl for Orchestra and two works by Richard Strauss, his Burleske and his Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks.

Airs Saturday, September 14 at 12 noon. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra music director Franz Welsr-Moest returns to the stage to lead the orchestra in Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 and Grosse Fugue as well as Scriabin's Symphony No. 4  “Poem of Ecstasy” and Chute d”Etoiles (Falling Stars) by Pintscher. Maestro Welsr-Moest will be joined on stage by trumpeters Michael Sachs and Jack Sutte.
