Author Adrian Miller dined at 150 soul food restaurants in the course of researching his book published last year by the University of North Carolina Press.
Soul food expert Adrian Miller will be in Shreveport this week for a book signing and to be the guest of honor at what’s being called "The Dream Dinner."
The family-style meal will feature signature soul food dishes from Miller's book, like fried catfish and black-eyed peas. It’s a menu that the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. would have been fond of, according to Miller.
