Aired Friday, November 20, at 11 a.m. Kermit Poling spoke with Music Director Michael Butterman and guest violinist William Hagen about the next concert by the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra featuring Mr. Hagen in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto along with Haydn's Sinfonia concertante for oboe, bassoon, violin and cello with SSO players Matt Albert, violin; Ruth Drummond, cello; Theresa Zale Bridges, oboe; Ann Shoemaker, bassoon. The program features Liadov's The Enchanted Lake, Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, and Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra.
