Shreveport Regional Airport sees more air traffic

Shreveport Regional Airport

The Shreveport Airport Authority says Delta Air Lines will have 10 flights a day between Shreveport and its hubs in Atlanta and Memphis beginning July 11. Allegiant Air's seasonal service to Orlando, Fla., has been extended to mid-January.

Northwestern State dedicates Loft Theatre

Jack Wann is the retired artistic director at Northwestern State University, and returns each year to direct summer theater productions.

Northwestern State University has named its Loft Theatre in honor of former artistic director Jack Wann. The 76-year-old professor emeritus is credited for building NSU's undergraduate theater program.

Cyber camps slated to spread to universities around U.S.

The Cyber Discovery Camp model was developed by the Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City. The center's GB Cazes says dozens of high school students and their teachers are being mentored this week by Louisiana Tech University professors at a camp on the Ruston campus. He says the cyber camp concept will be rolled out at other universities, including the University of Baltimore next month.
