Airs Monday, June 29, at 11 a.m. This week from the San Francisco Symphony Edwin Outwater will lead the orchestra in the Concert featuring music inspired by Eastern European folk music with the Românesc by Ligeti, Three Legends for Orchestra by Dvořák, and the Concerto for Orchestra by Lutosławski. In the middle, pianist Simon Trpčeski will step to the stage for a performance of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, Opus 26. The concert also features the Concert Music for String Orchestra and Brass by Hindemith.

Airs Monday, November 18 at 11 a.m. On this week's broadcast by the San Francisco Symphony, Michael Tilson-Thomas takes the podium to lead the orchestra in Prometheus by Franz Liszt and the Symphony No. 1 in g minor Op. 13 by Tchaikovsky. Violinist Christian Tetzlaff will join maestro Tilson-Thomas for a performance of the Violin Concerto by Ligeti.

Airs Saturday, October 27 at 12:00 noon. Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert we'll hear conductor Christoph von Dohnanyi who will be joined by soprano Megan Miller, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, tenor Eric Cutler, and bass Iain Paterson along with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in d, Op. 125 “Choral.” The concert opens with Ligeti's  Atmospheres followed by Wagner's Prelude to Act I of Lohengrin.
