Red River Radio Spotlight: SummerStage Festival At SFA

Aired Tuesday, June 23, at 12 noon. Bill Beckett spoke with Laura Rikard, assistant professor of theatre at SFA along with students’ Shelby Gilliam, Andee Rooney, and Travis Brasher about their SummerStage Festival productions of “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams, and the children’s favorite “The Emperor’s New Clothes: The Musical.” There will be multiple performances of each play beginning this Friday, June 26 and continuing on through July 15. All performances will be in W.M. Turner Auditorium in the Griffith Fine Arts Building on the SFA campus. Red River Radio Spotlight: Alice in Wonderland at Stephen F. Austin State University

Aired Tuesday, July 1 at 12 noon. Bill Beckett spoke with Laura Rikard, an assistant professor of theatre at Stephen F. Austin State University and director for this production of “Alice In Wonderland.” Also joining Bill is Anna Drake, a junior in theatre at SFA, who will take on the role of "The Queen Of Hearts" in this production. The Performances are part of the SummerStage Productions presented in the W.M. Turner Auditorium on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.
