Airs Saturday, May 9, at 12 noon. The 2014-15 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season concludes with a broadcast of a twentieth-century masterpiece, Igor Stravinsky’s only full-length opera, The Rake’s Progress.

Airs Monday, January 6 at 11 a.m. On this week’s concert by the San Francisco Symphony, Charles Detoit takes the podium and will be joined by violinist Arabella Steinbacher for Tchaikovsky's Violin Concert in D Major, Op. 35. The orchestra itself serves as soloist in Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra. The concert opens with music by Igor Stravinsky and a performance of his Le Chant du rossignol. To fill out the hour, music director Michael Tilson Thomas leads the orchestra in A Parade by Lou Harrison.

Airs Monday, July 29 at 11 a.m.  This week on the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, cellist Anne Martindale Williams joins maestro Manfred Honeck on the stage for Arthur Honegger’s Cello Concerto. The concert also features  Igor Stravinsky’s Petrouchka and George Gershwin’s An American in Paris with and archival performance of Darius Milhaud’s La Creation du Monde and excerpts from Maurice Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe Suite No. 2. Eugene Ormandy will lead the orchestra in the Ravel.
