Airs Monday, June 29, at 11 a.m. This week from the San Francisco Symphony Edwin Outwater will lead the orchestra in the Concert featuring music inspired by Eastern European folk music with the Românesc by Ligeti, Three Legends for Orchestra by Dvořák, and the Concerto for Orchestra by Lutosławski. In the middle, pianist Simon Trpčeski will step to the stage for a performance of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, Opus 26. The concert also features the Concert Music for String Orchestra and Brass by Hindemith.

Airs Monday, September 1 at 11 a.m. It’s a concert featuring rising stars of classical music from Pittsburgh Symphony Radio. He was named one of the young rock starts of the conducting world by the Daily Beast. Kazem Abdullah conducts Brahms’ Tragic Overture and Hindemith’s Mathis der Mahler Symphony. Airs Monday, December 2 at 11 a.m. On this week's concert by the San Francisco Symphony Pinchas Zukerman will lead the orchestra and will be the solosit in Mozart's Adagio K. 261 and Rondo K. 373 as well as his Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major, K. 216. Also on the concert, Hindemith's Trauermusik; Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550; and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, Op. 48.

Airs Monday, August 19 at 11 a.m. The San Francisco Symphony joins the Red River Radio broadcast schedule with 26 concerts from one of America's most superb orchestra's. On this first program, music director Michael Tilson Thomas will be joined by renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma for Hindemith's Cello Concerto. Maestro Thomas will also lead the orchestra in Beethoven's Leonore Overture No.3 Op. 72a; the Brahms Symphony No.1 in C Minor, Op. 68;  and Liszt's Lamento e Trionfo from Tasso. 

Airs Saturday, August 3, at 12 noon. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra we open a new season of broadcasts. Franz Welser-Moest will lead the orchestra in Hindemith's Kammermusik No. 1 and Berlioz's  Symphonie fantastique.
