RESTORATION UNIVERSITY - Highland Restoration Association and Norla Preservation Project created Restoration University, a series of presentations on restoration design, techniques and appreciation for living in and among historical homes and communities.Dr. Cheryl White, LSUS Department of History, will launch the series with a presentation titled “Edward Jacobs: Immigrant, Businessman, Builder” at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, in the Highland Center, 520 Olive St. Other speakers, dates and venues will be announced.

Bill Beckett was joined by Teresa Edgerton and Tina Kendrick, both with the Highland Restoration Association, to talk about this year's Highlands Holiday Tour of Historic Homes, which takes place Saturday, December 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, December 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about this event and homes to be toured contact the Highland Restoration Association online or call 318-572-9037.
