The Cleveland Orchestra Live

Airs Saturday, August 25 at 12:00 noon. Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert Marin Alsop leads the orchestra in Barber's Symphony No. 1.  She will be joined on stage by violinist Peter Otto for Bernstein's Serenade (after Plato's “Symposium”). The concert concludes with organist Joela Jones as soloist in the Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Opus 78, and “Organ” by Saint-Saens.

Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert Fabio Luisi will lead the orchestra in conductor Richard Strauss' Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks, Opus 28  and Strauss'  Aus Italien, Opus 16. In between pianist Jonathan Biss joines maestro Luisi and Orchestra for Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major, K. 453.

Airs Saturday, August 11 at 12:00 noon. Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert Ton Koopman takes the podium to lead the Ocrhestra and Soprano  in Bach's  Cantata No. 202,  “The Wedding Cantata.” This All Bach program will also feature Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F, BWV 1048;  Bach's Sinfonia in b, BWV 208; Sinfonia in D, BWV 42; and Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C, BWV 1066 .
