This week we'll hear conductor Franz Welser-Moest who will be joined by pianist Lang Lang for Bartok's Piano Concerto No. 2  followed by Bruckner's  Symphony No. 4, the  “Romantic”.

This week we'll hear a concert featuring Misuko Uchida as conductor and pianist in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9 in Eb;  Mozart's Serenade No. 11;  and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in C. Then, from the archives, Copland's suite from “Our Town” with the Cleveland Orchestra under Michael Tilson Thomas.

Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert we'll hear conductor Marek Janowski with violinist Arabella Steinbacher in Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Opus 64. The concert opens with Weber's “Der Beherrscher der Geister”  (“The Ruler of the Spirits Overture”) and closes with Schubert's Symphony in C major (“The Great”), D. 944

Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert we'll hear Pierre-Laurent Aimard as conductor and pianist along with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. The concert opens with Schoenberg's Three Pieces for Piano, Op. 11. Then we'll hear Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 18 in Bb, K. 456; Stravinsky's Symphonies of Wind Instruments (1947 revision); and Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms (1948 revision).

Red River Radio is pleased to bring back the Cleveland Orchestra for another superb season of broadcast concerts from the orchestra's home at Severance Hall in Cleveland and from concerts performed around the country and the world. On this week's concert choral selections by Schubert's including the Hymnus an den Heiligen Geist, D. 948;   Nachtgesang im Walde, D. 913  
and Gesang der Geister uber den Wassern, D. 714.  The Men of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus will be featured. The guest conductor David Robertson leads the orchestra in Mahler's  Symphony No. 5.
