This week we'll hear a concert from Knight Concert Hall, in Miami with Giancarlo Guerrero conducting and Gabriela Montero as the pianist in Grieg's Piano Concerto in a, Op. 16. The Concert opens with Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 in F, Op. 68 and closes with Respighi's The Pines of Rome.
Airs, Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. The Mozart Festival is recorded in Mozart's hometown of Salzburg, Austria and includes performances by some of the world's leading soloists and orchestras, backstage clips with performers, and location-recorded features touring the Mozarteum Foundation's priceless collections, including Mozart's original manuscripts and personal possessions. On this week's program we'll hear conductor David Afkham along with soprano Mojca Erdmann and the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg in Mozart's Recitative and Aria, “Quando avran fine omai – Padre, germani, addio!” from Idomeneo. Then we'll hear pianist Robert Levinon, violinist Frank Stadler and cellist Peter Sigl in Mozart Trio in B-flat and the program concludes with the menuetto and trio presto from Mozart's Symphony in C, “the Linz."

He invites listeners to enjoy and learn about the lively and compelling sounds of Latin American classical music. On this weeks program we'll hear "Dia de los Muertos," a musical exploration of the Day of the Dead! Music by Revueltas, his Noche de Jaranas; Ortiz's Altar de Neon; Revueltas' Colorines; and Aguila's Conga-Line in Hell.

On this week's concert we'll hear conductor Christoph von Dohnanyi who will be joined by soprano Megan Miller, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, tenor Eric Cutler, and bass Iain Paterson along with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in d, Op. 125 “Choral.” The concert opens with Ligeti's Atmospheres followed by Wagner's Prelude to Act I of Lohengrin.
