All performances on this program are live except for Rachmaninoff's 1929 performance. In this hour we'll hear Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 with Alexander Toradze as the pianist and the Mariinski Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev. We close the hour with Rachmaninoff's Etude Tableau in E Minor, Op. 39 featuring pianist Vakhtang Kodanashvili.

On this week's concert Ton Koopman takes the podium to lead the Ocrhestra and Soprano in Bach's Cantata No. 202, “The Wedding Cantata.” This All Bach program will also feature Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F, BWV 1048; Bach's Sinfonia in b, BWV 208; Sinfonia in D, BWV 42; and Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C, BWV 1066 .

This week we feature the World Premiere of Sean Shepherd's Quartet for Oboe and Strings (A 2011 Co-Commission by Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and La Jolla Music Society) with Liang Wang, oboe; Giora Schmidt, violin; Lily Francis, viola; and Felix Fan, cello. Also on the program, the Orion String Quartet will be joined by violist Lily Francis for Mozart's String Quintet No. 3 in C Major.
