This opening program features Louis Langrée leading the Camerata Salzburg in Mozart’s Symphony in D, KV 504 (Prague). Also on the concert the Vienna Philharmonic under Marc Minkowski in Mozart’s Serenade in D, KV 250 (Haffner).

For The Mozart Festival, artists and thousands of visitors have come to Salzburg, city of Mozart’s birth, to celebrate Mozart: from the United States, Venezuela, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Portugal, France, Great Britain, Greece, Austria, Spain, and from around the world. It is one of the world’s most spectacular music events. Program features pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard with the Vienna Philharmonic under the direction of Teodor Currentzis in Mozart's Allegro from the Concerto for Piano & Orchestra in c minor, KV 491 and the Camerata Salzburg under Louis Langrée in Mozart's Symphony in D, KV 385 “Haffner.”
