Airs Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 1 p.m. This week at The BBC Proms, conductor Mark Wigglesworth will be joined by pianist Stephen Hough for the Piano Concerto No. 1 by Brahms in a program that also features Haydn's Symphony No. 99, and The Greatest Happiness Principle, music by David Sawyer.

Airs Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. This week at The BBC Proms, violinist Nicola Benedetti joins the National Orchestra of Wales for the Violin Concerto No. 1 by Shostakovich in a concert that opens with October, also by Shostakovich and closes with the Symphony No. 2 by Sibelius.

Airs Thursday, August 3, 2017, at 1 p.m. Violinist Lisa Batiashvili joins mastro Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin in the Violin Concerto by Silbelius and the Symphony No. 1 by Sir Edward Elgar.

Airs Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. Edward Gardner will lead the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Chorus, and the BBC Proms Youth Choir in St. John’s Dance by Tom Coult, the Piano Concerto No. 3 by Beethoven, and Harmonium by John Adams.
