Airs Monday, March 14, at 1 p.m. From Knight Concert Hall in Miami Giancarlo Guerrero will take the podium and lead the orchestra in the Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein and Carl Orff's Carmina Burana featuring soprano Nadine Sierra, countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, and baritone Stephen Powell along with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.

Airs Saturday, October 3, at 12 noon. This week from the San Francisco Opera, Danielle de Niese takes the title role in George Frideric Handel's Partenope, with David Daniels as Arsace, Daniela Mack in the role of Rosmira, Alek Shrader as Emilio, Anthony Roth Costanzo as Armindo, and Philippe Sly as Ormonte. Christopher Alden directs and Julian Wachner leads the San Francisco Opera Orchestra in the Performance.

Airs Saturday, March 8 at 12 noon. The 2013-14 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season continues with a live broadcast of the Baroque pastiche The Enchanted Island. New cast members Susan Graham (Sycorax) and Andriana Chuchman (Miranda) join many of the principal singers who appeared in the work’s world premiere at the Met two seasons ago: David Daniels as Prospero, Plácido Domingo as Neptune, Danielle de Niese as Ariel, Luca Pisaroni as Caliban, and Anthony Roth Costanzo as Ferdinand. The Enchanted Island will be heard live over the Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.

Airs Saturday, January 11 at 12 noon. The 2013-14 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season continues with a live broadcast of Johann Strauss Jr.'s Die Fledermaus. Director Jeremy Sams has written new lyrics for the work, which will be performed entirely in English, and Tony Award-nominated playwright Douglas Carter Beane makes his Met debut with new dialogue. Adam Fischer conducts a cast of rising opera stars and Broadway performers. Susanna Phillips and Christopher Maltman star as the unhappily married Rosalinde and Eisenstein; Jane Archibald is their feisty maid, Adele; Anthony Roth Costanzo is Prince Orlofsky; Michael Fabiano is Rosalinde’s former lover, Alfred; Paulo Szot is the bumbling Dr. Falke; and Patrick Carfizzi is the prison superintendent, Frank. Broadway stars Danny Burstein and Betsy Wolfe make their network debuts as the drunken jailer, Frosch, and Adele’s sister, Ida. Die Fledermaus will be heard live over the Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.
