Airs Saturday, October 15, at 12 noon. This week the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Chorus are featured in Giuseppe Verdi's Don Carlo starring Michael Fabiano as Don Carlo and Ana María Martínez as Elisabetta, with Nadia Krasteva as Princess Eboli, Mariusz Kwiecien as Rodrigo, René Pape as Philip II, and Andrea Silvestrelli as The Grand Inquisitor. Nicola Luisotti will lead the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Chorus with chorus master Ian Robertson and stage direction by Emilio Sagi.

Airs Saturday, July 16, at 12 noon. This week we return once again to the LA Opera on the Air for a series of five performances opening up their season with a double bill featuring Puccini's Gianni Schicchi & Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. In the Puccini we'll hear Plácido Domingo as Gianni Schicchi and Arturo Chacon Cruz as Rinuccio, with Andriana Chuchman as Lauretta, Meredith Arwady as Zita, Greg Fedderly in the role of Gherardo, and Stacey Tappan as Nella.

Airs Saturday, July 9, at 12 noon. In our final season performance from the Lyric Opera of Chicago we'll hear Antonin Dvorák's Rusalka staring Ana María Martínez in the title role and Brandon Jovanovich as the Prince, with Jill Grove as Jezibaba, Eric Owens as Vodnik, and Ekaterina Gubanova as Foreign Princess. Sir David McVicar directs, Michael Black is our chorus master and Sir Andrew Davis leads the Lyric OperaOrchestr and Chorus in this performance.

Airs Saturday, December 5, at 12 noon. The 2015-16 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season – the company’s 85th season on the air – begins with a broadcast of the most-performed opera in Met history, La Bohème. The performance, conducted by Paolo Carignani, stars Barbara Frittoli and Ramón Vargas as the lovers Mimì and Rodolfo, with soprano Ana María Martínez as the spitfire Musetta.

Airs Saturday, May 16, at 12 noon. The first production in this year's season from the Lyric Opera of Chicago features Mozart's Don Giovanni with Mariusz Kwiecien as Don Giovanni; Marina Rebeka as Donna Anna; Ana María Martínez as Donna Elvira; and Kyle Ketelsen as Leporello. Also in this production are Antonio Poli as Don Ottavio; Andrea Silvestrelli as Il Commendatore; Andriana Chuchman as Zerlina; and Michael Sumuel as Masetto. Sir Andrew Davis conducts the Lyric Opera Orchestra and Chorus.
