Airs Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 6 p.m. Tune in for Health Matters: Mental Health Edition as Dr. Mark Vigen, psychologist, and Dr. Shelley Visconte, licensed counselor, will host this show on Alcoholism and Recovery. Our guest will be Judge Charles G. Tutt, from the Caddo Parish First Judicial District Court, and Sean Gregory, Associate Pastor of First Bossier over Recovery and Single Adults and a board member of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. Sean is also the North Central Louisiana State Representative for Celebrate Recovery.

Aired Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. Around 88,000 people in the U.S. die from alcohol related causes annually. In 2012, 17 million adults reportedly had an alcohol use problem, with 1.4 million receiving treatment at a specialized facility. This week on Health Matters, Dr. Paul Wilson, Internal Medicine Specialist, and Bill Rose, Executive Director of CADA, were our guests.
