Airs Monday, February 9, at 11 a.m. This week from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra it’s a concert of Debussy, Ravel, and Mendelssohn.  Juraj Valcuha conducts Debussy’s La Mer and Ravel’s La Valse.  Violinist Stefan Jackiw will then join the orchestra for the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, and there’s a world premiere of Supplica by Christopher Rouse.  Jim Cunningham will host the broadcast by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from Public Radio International.
