Airs Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 8 p.m. President Donald Trump is scheduled to give his first State of the Union address on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, to a joint session of Congress. One year into the Trump administration, the Speaker of the House has extended the traditional invitation to the president to "take account of the progress we have made" and "lay out the work that still remains to be done."

Special Coverage of the State of the Union address and the Democratic Party Response will be hosted by Ari Shapiro and Mary Louise Kelly.
