Music for Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur

Music for Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur

Airs Wednesday, September 11 at 2 p.m. Music for the High Holidays is a one-hour program for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  The show includes both traditional and composed music from Jewish liturgy (with a recording of Kol Nidre that features violinist Itzhak Perlman), as well as concert music based on High Holidays melodies.  Written and hosted by Naomi Lewin, Music for the High Holidays also explains a bit about the Jewish new year and its traditions -- there’s even a website recipe!
