Household Hazardous Waste Collection for Caddo and Bossier Parishes

HAZARDOUS HOUSEHOLD WASTE: Have you looked under your kitchen sink or around your garage lately?  Chances are you probably have some items that you've been meaning to dispose of but aren't sure how to do it without harming the environment.   Things like household cleaners,  solvents,  unused paints,  old pesticides, dead batteries; these items contain potentially hazardous ingredients and require special care when you dispose of them.   Saturday, July 15th,   Shreveport Green, a non-profit group dedicated to addressing community enhancement and promoting environmentally sound best practices is holding a Household Hazardous Waste collection.
