Heavenly Sight: Blind Gospel Singers

Airs Friday, February 5, at 9 p.m.  Heavenly Sight is an hour long music special featuring stories from blind, black gospel singers and listeners will hear the music of Blind Willie Johnson, Ray Charles, Reverend Gary Davis, Arizona Dranes and The Blind Boys of Alabama. All of these blind artists have fascinating backgrounds and have definitely influenced modern American music. The program features archival interviews, new recordings and some superb musical picks.
