Alan Dyson - Host of Shreveport House Concerts

Host of Shreveport House Concerts

Alan Dyson is a Louisiana artist, songwriter and creative place-maker. Prominent architectural projects include Shoppes at Bellemead, Giuseppe's, Ashley Ridge Pointe, Windrush Villiage at Provenance and Home Federal Bank. As a musician and songwriter his latest project is called "Stray Dogs by the Highway", a collaboration with poet David Love Lewis and producer Erich Avinger.

In 2004, years of work hosting local songwriter nights in Shreveport led to an invitation to host the Shreveport House Concert Series with Dana McCommon of Studio 1508 where local, regional and national songwriters are presented in a dedicated listening room. Shreveport House Concerts, Inc. was formed in 2013, and Dyson was installed as the organization's first president. SHCI became a tax exempt non-profit 501c3 organization in 2014 to pursue funding to preserve the growing archive and complete production for broadcast on Red River Radio.
