Christina Palomo of Los Angeles will travel from Natchitoches to New York later this month to help Columbia scientists study the environmental consequences of the 2010 BP oil spill. O’Riley is finishing up a three-year residency at LSU School of Music. The site relies on volunteer contributors to write and edit articles. Some academics downplay its relevance as a research tool.</p><p>Assistant professor of English Thomas Reynolds is writing a book on how professors should use Wikipedia in academic research and writing classrooms. NSU assistant professor of art Leslie Gruesbeck said the students made a proposal to the mayor to get permission to cover a telephone pole with a brightly-colored crocheted wrap, like a sweater. This is the sixth yarn bomb her students have completed.
