Airs Monday, April 8 at 11 a.m. This week's Pittsburgh Symphony concert features Christoph Koning who makes his Heinz Hall debut with the Prokofiev Symphony No. 1 and the Brahms Second Symphony . Pianist Gabriela Montero, who trained at the Royal Academy of Music and is known for her incredible improvisations, returns to Heinz Hall to perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3.

Airs Monday, March 4 at 11 a.m. Xian Zhang leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in the third concert of the season and he is joined by violinist Xiang Yu for Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2. Also on the concert, Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 4 and Steven Stucky’s Radical Light, plus from the archives we'll hear pianist Lang Lang in Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini."

Airs Saturday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. Join us for a new season of concerts from the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, celebrating its 40th season as one of the world’s leading performing arts festivals. Artistic director Marc Neikrug and broadcast host Kerry Frumkin will take you through 13 weeks of world class chamber performances. This week's concert opens with Vivaldi's Violin Concerto for Violin in F Minor, Op. 8, (Winter) from The Four Seasons. Then we'll hear Prokofiev's Overture On Hebrew Themes, Op. 34, and Weinberg's Piano Trio, op. 24.
