Pioneering America Open October 2, 2017 – December 15, 2017 James Smith Noel Collection 3rd floor Noel Memorial Library, LSUS (on Youree) The latest exhibit of materials from the Noel Collection examines the trades, transportation, and travel routes of pioneers in the first century of United States history. Early Americans encountered many challenges and adventures as they traveled from the East to the West in hopes of a better life. The items on exhibit include information about the work of tradesmen, the daily life of miners, and the exploration of famous pioneers. We’re open Sunday 2-6pm, Monday 8am-9pm, and Tuesday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
