"Cyrano de Bergerac" is one of the plays to be performed throughout the duration of the Texas Shakespeare Festival on the campus of Kilgore College in the Van Cliburn Auditorium. First performed by the Festival in 1990 and again in 2005, this play explores the inner conflict of Cyrano, a true renaissance man of many talents who is held back by his self-doubt over his physical attributes- particularly his unusually large nose. This doubt prevents him from expressing his feelings to his one true love. The first performance will be Friday, June 30th with it's final performance Saturday, July 29th. The play will be staged throughout the month of July at various dates and times. To buy tickets or for a complete schedule, please visit www.texasshakespeare.com.
