SCAM PHONE CALLS - So have you ever gotten a phone call from someone who says they’re a law enforcement officer or detective…and they say you need to pay a fine or you’ll go to jail? From his start with the band Bluesology in 1961, multi-award winner Elton John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight) has time and time again proven himself to be one of the most iconic singer-songwriters of our day. Rising to international fame by the 1970's with the hit "Your Song," Elton has since released an overwhelming number of studio albums, many of which have climbed their way to the top of the charts.

On Sunday May 8th Red River Radio presented a concert featuring the winners of its second annual Young Artist Competition. These six performers showed their musical talents before a live audience at the LSUS University Center Theater. The concert was originally broadcast on Friday May 28, 2011 on the Regional Symphony Broadcast.  Kermit Poling will be your host and master of ceremonies.
